Dr. Ashok Rajgopal

Dr. Ashok Rajgopal is Group Chairman - Orthopaedics at Medanta, Gurugram and an internationally recognised joint-replacement surgeon. His qualifications include MBBS, MS and MCh in Orthopaedics, FRCS and FIMSA. Medanta’s current profile reports more than 39,000 total knee replacement operations and more than 60,000 arthroscopic procedures for sports injuries.

His main clinical areas are knee replacement, joint replacement, arthroscopic ligament surgery, hip surgery and robotic orthopaedics. Medanta credits him with several surgical firsts in India, including bilateral total knee replacement and minimally invasive total knee replacement.
