Dr. B.S. Murthy

Dr B S Murthy is Principal Director of Orthopaedics, Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy Surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Sector 128, Noida. He has 40 years of clinical experience in orthopaedic surgery.

He completed MBBS at Sriram Chandra Bhanj Medical College, Cuttack, in 1984 and MS in Orthopaedics at MKCG Medical College, Berhampur, in 1990. His further training includes fellowships at Singapore General Hospital, with the Association for Osteosynthesis in Switzerland and with the International College of Surgeons.

His work includes minimally invasive replacement of the knee, hip, shoulder and elbow, computer-assisted joint replacement and revision surgery for failed or worn hip and knee implants. He also performs arthroscopic procedures for selected knee and shoulder conditions and manages complex fractures around major joints.

His orthopaedic practice covers advanced arthritis, failed or worn joint implants, sports-related knee and shoulder injuries, and complex pelvic and acetabular trauma. Primary joint reconstruction, revision arthroplasty, arthroscopy and fracture surgery form the main areas of his work at Max Noida.
