Dr. Devendra Yadav

Dr. Devendra Yadav is Unit Head - Orthopaedics (Unit VI) at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. He completed MBBS and MS in Orthopaedics at Pt. J.N.M. Medical College, Raipur. His professional background includes work with SAIL Hospital and the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, giving him more than a decade of international orthopaedic experience.

His main clinical focus is complex orthopaedic trauma, paediatric orthopaedics and joint replacement. Artemis highlights his experience in difficult fracture patterns and reconstruction, as well as the management of musculoskeletal injuries in children and adults. His work is particularly relevant when trauma involves multiple bones, previous fixation, deformity or a need for staged reconstruction.

Dr. Yadav has completed Advanced Trauma Life Support training and has worked extensively in orthopaedic emergency care. Artemis also notes his publication on the use of external fixation for distal-radius fractures. His professional memberships include the Indian Orthopaedic Association, Bombay Orthopaedic Society, World Orthopaedic Concern, Delhi Orthopaedic Association and Gurgaon Orthopaedic Society.

He speaks Arabic, English and Hindi. His current Artemis practice combines acute trauma management with fracture reconstruction, paediatric orthopaedic care and joint-replacement assessment.

Follow-up may include rehabilitation, repeat imaging and staged decision-making when injuries affect more than one joint or require secondary reconstruction.
