Dr. E V Raman is Consultant - Ear Nose & Throat at Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, Bengaluru, with more than 38 years of experience. He holds MBBS, DLO and MS qualifications and has built a long-standing practice in otorhinolaryngology, with particular expertise in complex paediatric airway and ear disorders.

His principal clinical areas include paediatric airway surgery, endoscopic skull-base surgery, cochlear implantation, ear reconstruction and endoscopic sinus surgery. Manipal also lists otoplasty and treatment of congenital ear problems among his areas of expertise. His work at the Children's Airway and Swallowing Centre includes management of difficult paediatric airway and tracheostomy-related conditions.

Dr. Raman is the Chief Architect of the Center for Otitis Media Research and Education and helped develop Manipal's Paediatric Airway and Tracheostomy Safety Module. His professional memberships include the Association of Otolaryngologists of India, Indian Society of Otology, Indian Academy of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery and Aerospace Medicine Society of India.
