Dr. I P S Oberoi

Dr. I P S Oberoi is Chairperson - Orthopaedics Program and Chief - Robotic Joint Replacement & Arthroscopy Surgery at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. His qualifications include MS in Orthopaedics and MCh Orthopaedics from Liverpool, with advanced clinical training in Germany, the United Kingdom, France and South Africa in joint replacement, reconstructive trauma, knee reconstruction, arthroscopy and shoulder surgery.

His practice focuses on primary and revision joint replacement, arthroscopy and sports-injury surgery. Artemis highlights replacement of the knee, hip, shoulder, elbow and ankle, together with keyhole procedures for shoulder, elbow, hip and ankle problems. He also manages multi-ligament knee injuries and other complex reconstructive orthopaedic conditions.

Dr. Oberoi has extensive international training in adult reconstructive trauma and minimally invasive joint surgery. He has also contributed to research and educational material related to joint replacement, arthroscopy and sports injuries and has delivered lectures at national and international meetings.

His memberships include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association, ISAKOS, Indian Orthopaedic Association, Indian Arthroscopy Society, Indian Arthroplasty Society and sports-medicine organisations.

He speaks English and Hindi. His current Artemis role covers patients with advanced arthritis, failed previous joint replacements, sports injuries and ligament or cartilage problems where arthroscopy, reconstruction or robotic joint replacement may be considered after clinical examination and imaging.
