Dr. Mayank Manjul Madan

Dr. Mayank Manjul Madan is Chief - Robotic, Bariatric, Minimal Access & General Surgery at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. He completed MBBS and MS in General Surgery at PGIMS Rohtak, followed by advanced training in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery, including FNB training and FIAGES certification. His career has included work at major surgical centres before progressing through senior roles at Artemis.

His practice focuses on robotic, laparoscopic, bariatric and metabolic surgery. He manages gallbladder disease, abdominal-wall and complex hernias, obesity and gastrointestinal surgical conditions, using minimally invasive approaches when appropriate. His training includes use of the Da Vinci robotic platform for selected procedures.

Dr. Madan also works across complex gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery, with experience in advanced laparoscopy and bariatric procedures such as sleeve gastrectomy and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. His clinical background includes a large volume of minimally invasive surgery, and his current Artemis role combines general surgery with advanced robotic and bariatric techniques for patients requiring operative treatment.

He speaks English and Hindi. His current practice is relevant for patients with obesity requiring surgical assessment, recurrent or complex hernia, gallbladder disease, colorectal or other gastrointestinal conditions where laparoscopic or robotic surgery may reduce surgical access trauma.
