Dr. Naveen Polavarapu

Dr Naveen Polavarapu is a Senior Consultant Medical Gastroenterologist and Liver Specialist at Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, Hyderabad. He is also Lead for Advanced Endoscopic Interventions and Training and Clinical Director. His qualifications include MRCP from London, FRCP from Glasgow and CCT in Gastroenterology in the UK.

Dr Polavarapu completed advanced endoscopy fellowship training in ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound at Aintree University Hospital. He also completed a liver transplant fellowship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. His practice covers gastrointestinal and liver disorders in adults and children, transplant hepatology, pancreatic disease and bile-duct conditions.

His procedures include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and EUS. These techniques are used to investigate and treat selected disorders of the digestive tract, pancreas, bile ducts and liver.
