Dr. Pallavi Rajhans

Dr Pallavi Rajhans is a Senior Consultant in Psychiatry at SAMA Hospital, New Delhi, with eight years of overall experience. She completed MBBS at Patna Medical College and Hospital in 2011 and MD in Psychiatry at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in 2018.

During her training and work at AIIMS, she gained experience across outpatient, inpatient and emergency psychiatry. Her clinical interests include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder and psychosis, together with anger and stress management and other common mental-health presentations.

Her official SAMA profile also documents focused work in child and adolescent psychiatry, de-addiction and dual diagnosis, women's mental health, liaison psychiatry and neuropsychiatry. At AIIMS she worked in specialty clinics including the Child & Adolescent Clinic, Bipolar Clinic, Drug Abuse and De-addiction services and the Dual Diagnosis Clinic.

Dr Rajhans has participated in academic programmes, research and national and international conferences. Her published work includes research on psychiatric morbidity and cognitive functioning in children and adolescents with bronchial asthma, and her work includes involvement in projects concerning first-episode psychosis, ADHD and suicide-crisis assessment.
