Dr. Rajiv Yadav

Dr. Rajiv Yadav is Chairperson of Urology and Head of Urologic Oncology & Robotic Surgery (Unit I) at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. He trained at AIIMS, New Delhi, completing MS in Surgery and MCh in Urology, followed by fellowships in urologic oncology, robotic surgery, endourology and laparoscopy in India and the United States.

His practice centres on prostate, kidney and urinary-bladder cancers, with a strong emphasis on robot-assisted and minimally invasive surgery. Artemis lists robotic radical prostatectomy, robotic partial or radical nephrectomy, robotic radical cystectomy with urinary diversion, robotic adrenalectomy and robotic pyeloplasty among his areas of expertise.

He also performs MRI-TRUS fusion biopsy and endoscopic, laparoscopic and open urological procedures.

Dr. Yadav has more than two decades of experience in urology and has worked extensively in uro-oncology and robotic surgery. His professional profile includes leadership of teams managing complex urological procedures as well as research activity in minimally invasive urology, prostate cancer surgery and renal surgery.

Artemis lists numerous scientific awards, including American Urological Association research distinctions and a gold medal as best outgoing resident in urology at AIIMS. His memberships include the Urological Society of India, American Urological Association, Delhi Urological Society and Association of Surgeons of India.

He speaks English and Hindi and has authored more than 100 scientific and invited articles. His current Artemis role combines cancer surgery, reconstructive urology and minimally invasive approaches for patients requiring complex evaluation and treatment.
