Dr. Renjith K R

Dr. Renjith K R is Consultant in Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery, with advanced training in minimally invasive, endoscopic and complex reconstructive spine surgery. His practice covers degenerative spinal conditions, deformity, nerve compression and other disorders that may require specialised surgical assessment.

His principal expertise includes minimally invasive spine surgery, complex deformity correction and endoscopic spine surgery. He uses contemporary techniques to manage selected cervical and lumbar disorders while aiming to reduce tissue disruption where clinically appropriate.

His work also includes detailed assessment of spinal alignment, neurological symptoms and structural pathology before deciding between non-operative management, limited decompression, endoscopic treatment or larger reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Renjith completed MBBS, Diploma in Orthopaedics and DNB training before pursuing a two-year FNB in Spine Surgery at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. He later completed fellowship training in endoscopic spine surgery in South Korea.

His additional qualifications include the AO Spine Global Diploma, SICOT Diploma and International FRCS in Trauma and Orthopaedics from Edinburgh. His academic record includes multiple publications in spine and orthopaedic journals, conference faculty participation and editorial work for peer-reviewed publications. His recognitions include Best Podium Presentation at ASSICON 2019, the ASSI Clinical Research Award 2021, the SICOT Best Young Investigator Research Award 2021 and a Best Published Paper Award in 2023.

He remains active in spine research, teaching and conference-based surgical education.

His practice also includes long-term follow-up after complex spinal reconstruction.
