Dr. Santosh K is a Consultant in Urology and Renal Transplantation with advanced training in general surgery, urology and minimally invasive techniques. His practice covers complex genitourinary conditions, kidney transplantation and a broad range of surgical urology, with an emphasis on precise assessment and organ-preserving treatment where appropriate.

His clinical work includes renal transplantation, laparoscopic urology, minimally invasive surgery and microvascular techniques. He evaluates patients with kidney and urinary-tract conditions that may require endoscopic, laparoscopic or reconstructive treatment, as well as patients being considered for transplant surgery.

Treatment planning is based on anatomy, kidney function, disease severity, previous procedures and the patient’s overall medical condition.

Dr. Santosh completed MBBS at Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, followed by MS in General Surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He then completed MCh in Urology at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Before his current consultant role, he served as an Assistant Professor at JIPMER, Puducherry, where he was involved in clinical care and academic training.

His combination of tertiary-centre surgical training and experience across subspecialty urology is particularly relevant for patients requiring kidney-transplant evaluation, complex laparoscopic treatment or specialist assessment of difficult genitourinary problems.
