Dr. Shikha Mahajan

Dr. Shikha Mahajan is Principal Director & HOD of Paediatrics at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, with 18+ years of experience listed by Max Healthcare. She holds MBBS and DNB qualifications in paediatrics and has worked extensively in both general paediatric care and adolescent medicine.

Her clinical interests focus on general paediatrics, adolescent medicine, child growth, development and preventive health. She evaluates acute childhood illnesses, respiratory and gastrointestinal problems, nutritional concerns and growth patterns, and also provides vaccination, health screening and age-appropriate counselling.

Her adolescent practice includes physical, nutritional and developmental concerns that emerge during the transition from childhood to adulthood.

Before her current BLK-Max leadership role, Dr. Mahajan worked as a Consultant Adolescent Health Specialist at the Centre for Child Health at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She is a life member of central and Delhi branches of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and its Adolescent Health chapter.

Her professional roles have included National Facilitator for Adolescent Health and instructor for the Pediatric Advanced Life Support programme. She has also received academic recognition for placing third in order of merit during her first professional examination.
